Maha Kumbh 2025 Live Updates: After the successful completion of Paush Purnima Snan festival, Prayagraj Mahakumbh started from Monday. After this, ‘Shahi Snan’ has also started on Tuesday, which this year the government has named ‘Amrit Snan’. Akharas have started processions for this ‘Amrit Snan’. Sadhus of 13 Akharas of Sanatan Dharma will first take the holy dip regarding ‘Amrit Snan’.

According to tradition, the Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025 started from Makar Sankranti on 14 January. First of all, Shri Panchayati Akhara Mahanirvani and Shri Shambhu Panchayati Atal Akhara came out for Amrit Snan. These Akharas will depart from the camp at 5:15 am and will reach the ghat at 6:15 am. Bath time will be 40 minutes. They will leave the ghat at 6:55 am and reach the camp at 7:55 am.
After this, Shri Taponidhi Panchayati Shri Niranjani Akhara and Shri Panchayati Akhara will take bath in Anand Amrit. These Akharas will depart from the camp at 6:05 am and reach the ghat at 7:05 am, while the bathing time will be 40 minutes. After this he will leave the ghat at 7:45 am and reach the camp at 8:45 am.
When and which Akhara will take the holy bath?
At the third place, three Sanyasi Akhara will take bath in Amrit. These include Shri Panchdasnam Juna Akhara, Shri Panchdasnam Aavahan Akhara and Shri Panchagni Akhara. They will leave the camp at 7:00 am and reach the ghat at 8:00 am. Bath time will be 40 minutes. All three Akharas will leave the ghat at 8:40 am and will reach the camp at 9:40 am.
Among the three Bairagi Akharas, the first All India Shri Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara will start from the camp at 9:40 am and reach the ghat at 10:40 am and after taking bath for 30 minutes, it will leave the ghat at 11:10 am and reach the camp at 12:10 pm.
All India Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara will start from the camp at 10:20 am and reach the ghat at 11:20 am and after taking bath for 50 minutes, will leave the ghat at 12:10 pm and will return to the camp at 1:10 pm. All India Shri Panch Nirvani Ani Akhara will leave the camp at 11:20 am and reach the ghat at 12:20 pm. This Akhara will take bath for about 30 minutes and after that will return from there at 12:50 pm and reach the camp at 1:50 pm.

The remaining three Akharas are associated with the indifferent sect. In this, Udasin Shri Panchayati New Udasin Akhara will depart from its camp at 12:15 pm and reach the ghat at 1:15 pm. After taking bath for 55 minutes, this Akhara will leave the ghat at 2:10 pm and reach the camp at 3:10 pm. Shri Panchayati Akhara New Udasin Nirvana will leave the camp at 1:20 pm and reach the ghat at 2:20 pm. After taking an hour’s bath here, we will leave the ghat at 3:20 pm and reach the camp at 4:20 pm.
At the end, Shri Panchayati Nirmal Akhara will take nectar bath. This Akhara will leave the camp at 2:40 pm and reach the ghat at 3:40 pm. After taking bath for about 40 minutes, the Akhara will leave the ghat at 4:20 pm and will return to the camp at 5:20 pm. It is noteworthy that the same arrangement will remain in place on Basant Panchami also.
