Pakistan Army Offer To Imran Khan: Tension is increasing between Imran Khan and the government in Pakistan. Imran was arrested on May 9 in the Al Qadir Trust case, although he got bail two days later. The protesters who took place after the arrest of Imran Khan had targeted the Pakistan army, due to which the army was infuriated. It has been announced to file a case against the protesters under the Army Act. According to sources, Pakistan Army has made an offer to Imran Khan.
Pakistani Army has offered former PM Imran Khan to leave Pakistan and said that otherwise he should be ready to face the Army Act. Imran Khan has been offered to go to Dubai and London by the Army. The country’s army said that if Imran leaves Pakistan, then the army will not file any case against him.
Imran Khan refused the offer
Former Prime Minister and PTI Chief refused to accept the offer given by Pakistan Army. He said that giving a blunt answer to the Pakistan Army, he said that whatever happens, he will not leave Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir had openly threatened the supporters of Imran Khan that we will not tolerate if the act of May 9 is repeated again. He made this statement during his visit to Sialkot Garrison, where he had gone to pay floral tributes at the martyr’s memorial.
Permission to prosecute under Army Act
In Pakistan, permission has been given to prosecute the protesters arrested two days ago under the Army Act. Army has a very important role in any internal matter in the country. The Pakistan Army had told the government to impose the Army Act. Army Act is also known as Official Secret Act. With its help, the army can give serious punishment to the culprits arrested on its behalf. Under this, by making serious allegations against former PM Imran and his workers, life imprisonment to death sentence can be given.
