Land mafia racket exposed in Basti, more than 20 lands captured with fake documents

Basti News Today: A shocking case of fraud has come to light from Basti in Uttar Pradesh. The allegation is that a person named Dashrath viciously grabs the land of poor families by preparing fake documents. Not just one or two but dozens of poor families have become victims of this vicious thug.

Dasharath has allegedly captured the conscience of many women by preparing fake wills of some women as soon as their husbands died. The vicious thug has committed such incidents with many families of Purani Basti area. The victims also complained against the accused several times, but no action was taken.

Case fighting for 15 to 20 years
There are many such people including Shyam Charan, Kalavati, Madhuri, Rita, Yogendra Kumar, Ram Prakash and Shiv Charan, who are victims of the harassment of alleged land mafia Dasharatha Kannaujiya. All of them allege that after the death of the head of their family, Dasharatha forcibly took over their houses and land. Dashrath threatened the victims and said that before dying, the head of the concerned family had transferred the land and house to him.

People are forced to fight cases in court for 15 to 20 years to get their land back from land mafia Dasharatha. The victim named Shiv Charan told that his Baba Dayaram died in the year 1984, but Dashrath committed fraud and got his valuable land registered in his name in the year 1998.

According to Shivcharan, names of the writer, witnesses and deceased tehsil employees were used. All of them allege that Dasharatha has created benami property by preparing fake documents of the land of the poor.

Has got 20 plots in his name
There are many cases against Dashrath and he has got his name registered on 20 plots along with his wife, which in itself proves how this gang is running a racket to defraud innocent poor families and take over their land. .

However, there are clear instructions from the government and local administration to identify the land mafia and take strict action against them. Despite the strictness of the administration, no action has been taken against Dashrath.

Many poor families, troubled by Dasharatha’s torture, are forced to knock their heads at the door of administrative officers for justice. Many of these people are financially helpless.

DM assured investigation
In this regard, Basti District Officer Ravish Kumar Gupta said that investigation is being done on the basis of complaint, whatever facts come to light after listening to both the parties, strict action will be taken.

DM Ravish Kumar said that quality disposal of any complaint is our priority. He said that action is being taken after taking cognizance of all the complaints.
