Threat Email to Kolkata Police: Amidst the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Kolkata Police has received a threatening mail. In this mail, Kolkata Police has been threatened to blow up the Raj Bhavan and the Indian Museum. According to the information, after receiving the threatening mail, Kolkata Police has come on alert mode and investigation into this mail has been started.

According to media reports, a day earlier on Monday (April 29), a threatening mail had been received to bomb Kolkata Airport. After which the security of Kolkata Airport was tightened. During this time the airport was also searched, but no major clue was found.

Received threat for the third time

Kolkata Police has received a threatening mail for the third time since last week. On Friday also, the police had received a threatening mail, after which a search operation was also conducted at the airport. After this, another similar mail came on Monday. It was said that the airport would be bombed. As soon as this information was received, the security personnel at the airport became alert. During this time the airport was also searched intensively.

Threatening mails are being received during Lok Sabha elections.

Currently, Lok Sabha elections are going on in the country, in such a situation, the repeated threat mails coming to the Kolkata Police have also increased their problems. It is noteworthy that in West Bengal in seven phases Lok Sabha Elections Are happening. So far voting has taken place for two phases. Voting is yet to happen for the remaining five phases.
