PM Modi on Ram Mandir: Lok Sabha Elections Now only a few days are left for the first phase of voting in 2024. Before voting on April 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given an interview to America’s famous magazine Newsweek, in which he talked about various issues including Ram Temple. On the importance of Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said that the name of Shri Ram is imprinted on our national consciousness.
PM Modi said, ‘His (Lord Ram) life has set the outline of thoughts and values in our civilization. His name echoes in every corner of our holy land. Therefore, during the 11-day special rituals, I made a pilgrimage to the places where the footprints of Shri Ram are.’
Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha Ceremony Historical Moment
Narendra Modi Said that the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Temple was a historic moment of unity for the nation and was the culmination of centuries of perseverance and sacrifice. He said, “When I was asked to be a part of the ceremony, I knew that I would represent the 1.4 billion people of the country who have waited patiently for centuries for the return of Ram Lalla.”
He said that this celebration gave the country an opportunity to celebrate the second Diwali and brought people together. Every house was illuminated with the light of Ram Jyoti. They see it as a divine blessing. People were eagerly waiting for this day.
The consecration took place in the month of January.
In January this year, PM Modi Ram Mandir Was inaugurated. Thousands of personalities from all walks of life participated in this grand ceremony. However, despite being invited, the opposition kept its distance from the function and claimed that the BJP was trying to gain political mileage by using the temple programme.
