KL Rahul upset after Lucknow’s defeat, gave class to everyone from bowlers to batsmen

KL Rahul Reaction: Lucknow Super Giants suffered their fifth defeat in IPL 2024 against Kolkata Knight Riders. After this defeat of Lucknow, captain KL Rahul did not appear to be in a good mood at all. After the match, Rahul showed class to everyone from the batsmen to the bowlers. Rahul told how the poor performance of all the departments sank the team.

Batting first in the match, KKR had put 235/6 runs on the board in 20 overs. In reply, Lucknow team was all out on the score of 137 runs. After this shameful defeat, Rahul gave a sharp statement.

Rahul said after the match, “Too many runs. Poor performance. It was a big total. Like I said, poor performance with the ball and bat. Narine had put too much pressure in the power play. Our bowlers were able to handle that pressure. Couldn’t handle it. You come against good players, it was a good 20 wicket. It was more than -30 runs.”

The Lucknow captain further said, “Our batting was weak. We prepare in advance. We talk about the opposition batsmen, try to see what kind of plan we need to come up with. When We need to execute when we come here, but we didn’t, we made some mistakes against Sunil or whoever played well, once we go into the dressing room we will move on from this game and see where. A mistake was made. Last home match, we are ready for the next matches, we need to be fearless.”
