KKR vs LSG: Kolkata Knight Riders have defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 98 runs. This has become LSG’s biggest defeat in the history of IPL. Playing first, KKR had scored a huge score of 235 runs in 20 overs, which also included Sunil Narine’s stormy innings of 81 runs. When Lucknow team came out to chase the target, it did not start well for them as Arnish Kulkarni was out after scoring only 9 runs. In this match, Sunil Narine scored 81 runs with the bat and also took 1 wicket while bowling well.
Chasing the big target of 236 runs, Lucknow Super Giants scored 55 runs at the loss of 1 wicket in the first 6 overs. Lucknow looked to be in a good position, but in the 8th over, captain KL Rahul was out after scoring 25 runs in 21 balls. After them, Deepak Hooda and Marcus Stoinis also soon returned to the pavilion, due to which the team had lost 4 wickets for 85 runs. The bat of Nicholas Puran and Ayush Badoni also did not work today, who were out after scoring 10 runs and 15 runs respectively. The situation was such that by the end of 15 overs, Lucknow had lost 8 wickets at the score of 130 runs and they still needed 106 runs to win. LSG’s 9th wicket fell in the form of Yudhveer Singh in the 16th over, due to which KKR completely dominated the match. On the very first ball of the 17th over, Harshit Rana also dismissed Ravi Bishnoi, who scored only 2 runs. With this, LSG got all-out on the score of 137 runs and KKR won the match by a huge margin of 98 runs.

KKR batted aggressively first and put pressure on Lucknow Super Giants. After that he showed excellent performance in bowling also. Harshit Rana and Varun Chakraborty took the most wickets for the team, both of them took 3-3 wickets in their respective spells. Meanwhile, Andre Russell once again came to bowl in the middle overs and turned the match in favor of KKR by taking 2 wickets. Mitchell Starc and Sunil Narine were also successful in taking one wicket each.
Big records made in KKR vs LSG match
Let us tell you that KKR had scored 235 runs while playing first. This was the highest score made by any team against Lucknow Super Giants in the history of IPL. Earlier, the team that scored the most runs against Lucknow was Gujarat Titans, who scored 227 runs against Lucknow in 2023. The second big record in this match is that KKR has now become the team to defeat LSG by the biggest margin in the history of IPL. Earlier, the team that defeated LSG by the biggest margin was Mumbai Indians, in 2023 MI defeated LSG by a margin of 81 runs. Now KKR has defeated KL Rahul’s army by 98 runs.
