Kishwer Merchant Weight Loss: TV actress Kishwer Merchant Rai has recently shared pictures and videos of her weight loss journey on Instagram. The actress also revealed that during the first few months after becoming a mother in August 2021, she was not at all bothered about her extra weight, but after a point she felt it was time to get back in shape. .
Kishwar could not sit on the ground due to increased weight
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Kishwer said, “I was enjoying my maternity journey, so I did not care much about the weight. In fact, I have done three TV shows ‘Fanaa’, ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’, ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan Season 1′ 4’ and ‘Dear Ishq’. But then, after my delivery, there was a time when I couldn’t even sit on the ground because my muscles and bones were all tight,” says Kishwar. Was They were so bad that I used to squat.
When did Kishwar become self conscious
Kishwar also recalled the time when she became self-conscious. The actress said, “I felt this way because I had never seen myself like that (with extra weight). Those who have always been on the plumber side as a child are okay with that. But I’ve always been small, so being an XL was very new to me. It took me some time and now I am in medium size. It feels good.

In April this year, Kishwar started a tough workout routine and on May 26 he posted a video sharing, “Still a long way to go though.” Elaborating on her physical transformation, the 42-year-old actress said, “The video was initially after I lost 10 kilos right after my delivery. And extra four kilos in the last two months. While the weight loss is not much, I am more conscious about the inches lost. The waist size I used to wear was 34, and now I have come down to 31. So, I am just getting fitter plus, I can box jump now which is more important than just shedding kilos.”
Kishwer’s husband Suyesh became an inspiration in her weight loss journey
Kishwar credits her husband actor Suyyash Rai for being a constant inspiration behind her weight loss journey. She says “He is also in that field to shed some extra pounds. He plays cricket and does cardio every day. We both put on a lot of weight when I was pregnant (during the Covid-19 lockdown). But It is very easy for him to put on and lose a few kilos. But, it is not so with me, as once I put on, it is very difficult to get rid of that fat. So he keeps on motivating me by saying, ‘Worry Don’t do it, you will get there.’
The actress says that she can do all this seriously now because she has time and her son Nirvair has grown up a bit. He chews on his own, so I get my time for the gym and I’m back.
