North Korea To South Korea: Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has given a big warning to South Korea on Saturday. He said that if South Korean drones were found flying over North Korea, the consequences would be dire. North Korea made this statement when South Korean drones were seen in the sky of the capital Pyongyang.
Kim Jong-un’s sister Kim Yo Jong said through state media KCNA that the recent drone intrusion is a serious incident. Kim criticized the South Korean military, saying that they had failed to identify the drone intrusion. The army of the enemy country is responsible for this. He also said that the anti-North Korea leaflets (which were sent via drone) show the seriousness of the incident.
South Korea’s response
The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff immediately reacted to North Korea’s allegations. He said that he could not confirm these allegations. However, on the whole issue, North Korea said that drones and balloons have been sent from South Korea, in which leaflets and aid materials criticizing Kim Jong-un are being sent. North Korea considers such activities against its government and is responding to it by sending garbage through balloons, which is further increasing the tension between the two countries. The increasing tension between North and South Korea in recent times is creating a situation of security and political crisis between the two countries.
Kim Yo-jong, only sister of Kim Jong-un
Kim Yo-jong is the only sister of Kim Jong-un. Jong-un was born in the year 1987. She is only 4 years younger than Kim. He studied in Bern, Switzerland along with his brother. However, in the year 2018, Kim Yo-jong came into limelight when she became the first member of the Kim dynasty to visit South Korea. At that time she had gone to the Winter Olympics as a member of the delegation.
