Khargone News: 55 people fell ill after allegedly consuming adulterated matka kulfi during a religious fair in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. The condition of two of them is said to be serious. At the same time, Dr. Daulat Singh Chauhan, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Khargone, told that 25 children are also included in the sick. He said that samples of Kulfi have been sent for testing.
Dr. Daulat Singh Chauhan has informed that the matter is of last Wednesday night. These 55 people who fell ill had gone to a temple in Chhatal village, 14 km from the district headquarters, and had eaten matka kulfi at the fair. The person who makes Matka Kulfi is Dinesh Kushwaha.
The condition of two children was critical, now stable
Dr. Chauhan said that 55 people, including 25 children, were admitted to the district hospital after complaining of abdominal pain, vomiting and upset stomach due to food poisoning. The official said that two children were brought to the hospital in critical condition, although their condition is now stable.
30 people were discharged after treatment
At the same time, Dr. Dilip Septa, Resident Medical Officer of the hospital, said that so far 20 children and 10 other people have been discharged after treatment.
