Kareena Kapoor Khan Recreates Iconic ‘Jab We Met’ Moment For New Ad – Watch


New Delhi: Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan delighted fans with a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she recreated her beloved character, Geet, from Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ in a new advertisement for a travel company. The advertisement shared on Kareena’s Instagram account, captures a scene reminiscent of the film, where Geet and Aditya find themselves stranded in Ratlam after missing their train.

In the video, Kareena Kapoor effortlessly channeled Geet’s spirited persona as she clads in a vibrant orange kurta. She also sported Geet’s signature ponytail. Just like the ‘Jab We Met’ scene, she negotiates with a receptionist at the Hotel, accompanied by a female friend.

In her Instagram post, Kareena Kapoor teased fans with the caption, “The OG traveler is back! Complete the sentence: Geet is such a travel inspiration that _____.”

The ad is not going viral. One fan commented, “Omggggg I thought it’s her jab we met movie scene,” while another one wrote, “Expression queen forever!”

Reflecting on the enduring appeal of her character, Kareena expressed gratitude for the love and adoration Geet has received over the years. During a chat with Neha Dhupia, she remarked, “I think Geet will always be special to everyone because you have never really seen a character who is so honest soo loving, a girl who wants to chase her dreams. She is evergreen for generations and all times and Geet will always be in me.”

Recently, Kareena graced the silver screen in ‘Crew’ alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, this heist comedy hit theaters on March 29, quickly surpassing the Rs 100 crore mark at the global box office.
