Joe Biden Xi Jinping: US President Joe Biden fiercely attacked Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday. He said that Xi Jinping is a dictatorial ruler. Biden said Xi Jinping was angered over an incident in February when a Chinese balloon was seen flying over the United States. Biden further said that the balloon was used for espionage. That spy balloon was shot down by a US military jet.
Biden said this a day after Foreign Minister Antony Blinken met Xi during his visit to China. Antony Blinken was on a visit to China and during this his aim was to reduce the tension between the two countries.
Addressing a gathering in California, Joe Biden said that Xi Jinping got very upset when we shot down the spy balloon. Biden said it is a matter of great shame for the dictator. Biden said that Xi Jinping refused to accept that his spy balloon was flying over America. He also said that the balloon should not have been where it was.
Biden said that China is facing economic difficulties. China’s economy has faltered. Beijing needs to make more efforts for recovery after the Corona epidemic.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Xi Jinping agreed in their meeting on Monday to stabilize the intense engagement between Washington and Beijing. Both also agreed to continue diplomatic engagement in the coming times. Biden further said that relations between the two countries are on the right track. During Blinken’s visit to China, tensions between the two countries eased.
