The data of users of telecom companies for March 2024 has been released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). It was revealed in the TRAI report that in the month of March, Jio has once again taken a big leap in terms of users. Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL are far behind in terms of userbase compared to Jio.

In its March report, TRAI released the list of customers joining Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL and leaving the companies. According to TRAI, number one company Jio added the maximum number of users in March, while this month was very bad for Vi and BSNL.

Jio’s fun

Let us tell you that in the month of March, Jio added more than 21 lakh new users. Now the total number of customers using Jio’s network has exceeded 46 crores.

Good news for Airtel

If we talk about the country’s second largest company Airtel, then this month was good for Airtel too but in terms of new users, the company lagged behind Jio. In March 2024, Airtel added more than 17 lakh new users. Now Airtel has more than 38 crore users.

Vi’s condition became weak

Like every time, the month of March 2024 also brought bad news for Vodafone Idea. Vi also suffered a setback in the month of March. About 6.5 lakh customers left Vi in March. Now the company has only about 21 crore customers left.

BSNL got a big blow

If we talk about government telecom agency BSNL, then the month of March was very bad for the company. BSNL customers also gave a big blow to the company. About 23 lakh customers left BSNL connections in March. Talking about the figures, at present BSNL has only 8 crore 80 lakh users left.
