Patna, UP’s election strategist Prashant Kishor has made a big statement on the murder of UP’s mafia Atiq Ahmed. He started the 199th day of Jan Suraj Padyatra from Chak Gulamuddin Panchayat under Patedhi Belsar block of Vaishali. On Tuesday (April 18), Prashant Kishore interacted with the journalists of the district. During this, on the matter of Atiq Ahmed, he said that democracy is our strength. It is not good for our society to stand in favor of police rule instead of removing some flaws in the constitution.
Prashant Kishore said that I am one of those people who believe in following the Rule of Law. Encountering someone who is against the law or is not justified is not in his favor. It is said that today the public is clapping or a section of the society is considering it good, it shows how distressed the public was.
,Change the constitution itself, it is not right,
Regarding the UP government, PK further said that it would have been better if the government had set up a fast track court. There would be a hearing in a month. After that whatever punishment was to happen would have happened. Said that I am not in favor of police rule. Our strength is democracy, the system which has been made according to the constitution, it is not right that we should change the constitution itself to rectify those shortcomings.
Prashant Kishor further said that there may be some shortcomings in the system in the constitution, but instead of correcting those shortcomings, change the provisions of the constitution itself, it is not right in any case. It is not right to make the country a police raj. Today the policeman who is firing on someone else may fire on us, on you, so this method is not correct.
