CM Yogi Adityanath Delhi Visit: Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Delhi on Sunday (November 3, 2024). PM in the national capital Narendra Modi He met JP Nadda, after which he met BJP Chief and Union Health Minister JP Nadda. If sources are to be believed, there was talk between PM Modi and CM Yogi for about one and a quarter hour. This visit of CM Yogi Adityanath took place at a time when by-elections are to be held on nine seats in the state. On top of that, the attack happened on the same day when he also received death threats from an unknown person. The importance of this tour has increased because the state has Meerapur (Muzaffarnagar), Kundarki (Moradabad), Ghaziabad, Khair (Aligarh), Karhal (Mainpuri), Sisamau (Kanpur), Phulpur (Prayagraj), Katehari (Ambedkar Nagar) and Majhwan. By-elections are being held in (Mirzapur) but efforts to find out the context of this meeting are currently going on in the political circles.
Senior journalist Alok Tripathi told ABP News over the phone the possible reasons for CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Delhi. He said, “There is an atmosphere of by-elections in the state, hence he must have gone to Delhi. After the Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh has become very important for the BJP. Everyone’s eyes are fixed on the elections. Just as the BJP has suffered a loss in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections. Keeping all these things in mind, CM Yogi would have been called to Delhi Darbar. The way the slogan of ‘Batenge to Katenge’ was given and a positive atmosphere was created, he can also come to Delhi for consultation.
Meanwhile, senior journalist Ratanmani Lal, who keeps an eye on the politics of UP, is of the opinion, “It would not be right to say that Yogi Adityanath has come to Delhi to discuss the by-election issues. The logic behind this is that all the concerns regarding the by-elections. The names of all the candidates have already been announced. There are some other reasons for the election of the party president. And since Yogi Adityanath is one of the big leaders of the party and is the CM of the biggest state of the country, the party can call him for any possible discussion on the violence that happened in Bahraich some time ago or the continuous air travel. Threats can also be a reason for the meeting. Actually there can be many reasons but the issue of by-election is at the lowest level.”
Summoned to Delhi for ‘Khatpat’ with Keshav Prasad Maurya?
It was being claimed in UP that things were not working out between CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. In the last months I visited Delhi to Lucknow. There were some meetings in which the Chief Minister went but both the Deputy CMs Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya did not go. The matter had cooled down due to alleged estrangement. Senior journalist Alok Tripathi further said, “Lok Sabha elections The kind of atmosphere created in UP after the results and Keshav Maurya went to Delhi, then Yogi Adityanath Had also gone to Delhi. Now it is possible that Yogi ji may have gone to Delhi to settle this matter before the by-elections. Because an opportunity was given in the by-elections that the politics of UP would depend on its performance.”
Ratanmani Lal has a slightly different opinion on this issue. He said, “There is a valid reason for the clash with Keshav Maurya, but anything can be said on this matter only after the by-elections. Today, Yogi ji has a stature in Uttar Pradesh. He has importance across the country. Due to his role in winning the elections, Keshav Prasad’s role will come to the fore only if BJP does not get possible success in the by-elections. “Maybe, but because the by-election campaign is going on, I think the result of Keshav Maurya case will not come now but after the by-election.”
