India To Nepal Gov About Amritpal Singh: Punjab Police’s operation against Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh is going on. Meanwhile, the Government of India has asked Nepal to arrest him if he tries to escape using his Indian passport or any other fake passport. He should not be allowed to escape to any third country. The ‘Kathmandu Post’ newspaper has claimed this in its report published on Monday (March 27).
The newspaper has written that the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu has sent a letter to the Department of Commercial Services on Saturday (March 25). In this, various government agencies here have been requested that if Amritpal tries to escape from Nepal, he should be arrested. However, there was no immediate confirmation about this letter from the local Indian mission.

“Singh is currently hiding in Nepal,” the newspaper said, citing a letter that it claimed to have a copy of the letter in question. The newspaper said, “Respected Ministry is requested to inform the Immigration Department that Amritpal Singh should not be allowed to travel to any third country through Nepal and if he fails to inform the mission If anyone tries to escape from Nepal using Indian passport or any other fake passport, he should be arrested.
Citing multiple sources, the paper said the letter and Singh’s personal details have been forwarded to all relevant agencies, from hotels to airlines. Singh is believed to be holding multiple passports with different identities. Punjab Police started action against Amritpal on March 18, since then he is absconding. Radical separatist Amritpal dodged the police as well and managed to escape the police trap despite his convoy being intercepted in Punjab’s Jalandhar district.
Security agencies on ‘high alert’ in Nepal-India border area
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs has directed all security agencies to be on ‘high alert’ in the Nepal-India border area. Quoting sources in the ministry, ‘My Republica’ newspaper said that the directive has been given at the request of Indian security officials and the Nepal-India border area has been put on ‘high alert’ for two days. Quoting sources The report said police in plain clothes have increased vigil in the border area as Singh may enter the country from Kapilvastu in western Nepal.
