Maharashtra Lok Sabha Election 2024: BJP leader Anil Jadhav has filed nomination as an independent candidate for Nashik Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra. Now his reaction regarding this has also come to light. Anil Jadhav said that BJP was fielding its candidature for Nashik Lok Sabha seat, but Shiv Sena has fielded its candidate under the Mahayuti alliance. Whereas in Nashik, more than 100 municipal servants and our team of workers are ready till the booths. Therefore, only BJP should have contested the Nashik Lok Sabha seat.
Only BJP deserves victory in Nashik. Bharatiya Janata Party workers were very keen that we should get this ticket. As a BJP worker, I have filed my nomination as an independent candidate.

Shiv Sena has given ticket to Hemant Godse
Let us tell you that under the Mahayuti alliance, CM Eknath Shinde has given ticket to Hemant Godse from Nashik Lok Sabha seat. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Hemant Godse won this seat and secured 5,63,599 votes. Whereas NCP’s Sameer Bhujbal could get only 2,71,395 votes. Apart from this, independent candidate Manikrao Kokate had secured 1,34,527 votes. There was 57.77 percent voting on this seat in 2019.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections also, Hemant Godse had won the election from Shiv Sena. He had defeated veteran NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal. Hemant Godse got 4,94,735 votes and Chhagan Bhujbal got 3,07,399 votes.
Hemant Godse will compete with Rajabhau Waje
Shiv Sena this time on Nashik Lok Sabha seat Eknath Shinde Hemant Godse is contesting from Shiv Sena’s side and Rajabhau Waje is contesting from Shiv Sena’s Uddhav faction. Voting will take place here on May 20 in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections. The counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on June 4.
