Meanwhile, New Zealand players were trying to score the second run when Harmanpreet quickly threw the ball towards wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh. Whereas Richa dived and ran out Kerr. While India was celebrating the run out, Kerr also started returning to the pavilion, but then the umpire called Kerr back.

Harmanpreet was against this decision, so she angrily clashed with the umpires. On the other hand, Team India’s head coach Amul Majumdar was also confused as to what was going on. Amelia Kerr was out after some time

Amelia Kerr was recalled despite being run out on the last ball of the 14th over. But she could not take much advantage of this gift of life.
