India GDP Growth Rate Data: The pace of India’s development may be a little slow, but it is not sluggish. The country will continue to grow at a rate of at least 6.6 percent in future also. This is what the latest report of the United Nations says. The gist of the recently released World Economic Situation and Prospects report is that there are not many obstacles in India’s progress towards development. But it will be mainly based on private consumption and investment. In this way, it has been made clear in the report that the pace of the country’s progress will depend on how much the common man spends. That is, the more you open your pocket in the market and the more you open your fist in household expenses, the more the country will develop. Along with this, the condition of investment for development has also been added. That means, apart from personal consumption, investment in the country is also important. Obviously, there is a need for strength on the investment front both domestically and abroad.
China is becoming weak, India is not left out
The report clearly indicates that China is becoming weak on the economic front due to domestic reasons. Domestic consumption has decreased in China. Real estate is a victim of recession and China is also struggling with the decline in demand for other products due to the war. To take advantage of this, India needs to increase exports in the service sector. Exports should be promoted more and more in the manufacturing sector also.
Global growth rate will be 2.8 percent
The report said that even though India’s economy will grow at the rate of 6.6 percent in 2025, the world’s growth rate will remain only 2.8 percent. Due to war in the world, the economy has also become weak. Loans have increased significantly in many countries. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said in the introduction to the report that countries cannot ignore these threats.
