Sri Lanka has given India a target of 147 runs to win in the last match of the T20 series. In this match being played in Dharamsala, Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka scored a half-century while batting. He scored 74 not out in 38 balls. Whereas Avesh Khan and Mohammad Siraj bowled well for India.
Electing to bat after winning the toss, the Sri Lankan team scored 146 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. The team had a bad start, but captain Dasun Shanaka batted vigorously and reached the big target. Shanaka scored an unbeaten 74 off 38 balls. His innings included 9 fours and 2 sixes.
Pathum Nisanka and Danushka Gunathilaka came to open for the Sri Lankan team. During this, Gunathilaka lost his wicket on the last ball of the first over. He was dismissed on zero by Mohammad Siraj. While Nisanka became a victim of Avesh Khan’s ball by scoring one run. Charith Aslanka too could not do much and was dismissed after scoring 4 runs.
Wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal, who came to bat in the middle order, was dismissed after scoring 25 runs. He also hit 2 fours while facing 27 balls. Janith Lianage scored 9 runs and was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi.
While bowling for Team India, Avesh Khan took 2 wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs. He also took out a maiden over. On the other hand, Mohammad Siraj took one wicket for 22 runs in 4 overs. Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket giving 32 runs in 4 overs. Kuldeep Yadav did not get a single success. He conceded 25 runs in 4 overs. Harshal Patel took one wicket for 29 runs in 4 overs.
