Nitin Gadkari on Politics: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Saturday (January 4, 2025) that his opinion about politics is not good because the strategy of use and throw is adopted in it. He questioned that in politics there is a competition to join the ruling party. In such a situation, where does the ideology and loyalty of the people go?
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gadkari also said that the problem in the country is not ideology but the emptiness of thoughts. He said, “Many people join the party that comes to power. In such a situation, where does his ideology and loyalty go? The problem in our country is not ideology, but emptiness of thoughts.”
‘First you have to take care of your home’
In a program organized by Maratha Seva Sangh in Pune, Gadkari said that if the country has to progress then first of all we will have to take care of our home and family. Recalling an incident, he said, “A man came to me and said that he wanted to sacrifice his life for the country. At that time his business was at a standstill. He was going bankrupt and had a wife and children at home. I told him to take care of his home first and then the country.”
Gadkari considers Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as his ideal.
Gadkari said he considered Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as his role model because the Maratha emperor fought and won battles, but did not destroy places of worship or torture his opponents. He said that Shivaji Maharaj treated all religions equally during his reign and he was truly a secular ruler of India.
Earlier on December 3, 2024, Nitin Gadkari had said that politics is an ocean of unsatisfied souls, every person here is sad and is hoping for a higher post than his current post.
