The Punjab chief minister said Khan did not allow former federal minister Moonis Elahi to sit with him, but the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) supported Imran Khan. He said, “When Imran Khan asked to dissolve the Punjab Assembly, we immediately agreed.”
Bajwa did not want Shahbaz to become PM
Khan, in his address to PTI workers on Saturday, criticized the former army chief, saying that he had premonitions of ousting his government and was aware that some elements wanted Shehbaz Sharif to be the prime minister, The News reported. He said, “The former prime minister was accompanied by Pervez and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Mahmood Khan. General Qamar Javed Bajwa told me that he does not want him (Shahbaz) to become the PM. So who is responsible? Will someone tell me this?” General Bajwa used to tell me that (the current ruler) is corrupt.”
