Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, daughter of former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif and senior vice president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has questioned the Supreme Court of her country.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif questioned the Supreme Court and asked why Imran Khan was not punished by the Supreme Court despite being involved in abrogating the constitution. He raised this issue while talking to the party’s lawyers’ wing in Lahore on Sunday (February 26).
Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan has not faced any significant legal consequences despite repeatedly attacking the courts during the protests, while PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif was convicted in fake cases like the Panama Leaks. They have now discovered the judicial establishment. Maryam Nawaz accused Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi of selling Toshakhana gifts in Dubai. He said that if Imran Khan’s hands are not stained, then he should answer the allegations in the court.
many times abolished the constitution
According to a report in The Express Tribune, Maryam insisted that despite scrapping the constitution, Imran Khan was allowed to go home without any punishment. Why is the person holding the certificate of breaking the constitution not punished? He should have been tried under Article 6.
