Sambhal Masjid Controversy: A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today on the violence related to the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. The court said that the lower court should not take any action in this. Now the reaction of Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal seat Ziaur Rahman Burke on this matter has come to light. He welcomed the court’s decision and said that we are completely satisfied with the Supreme Court.
While talking to ABP News correspondent, Sambhal MP Ziaur Rahman said that we had gone to the Supreme Court with the intention that we would get justice there. I am happy that the court has given us a good judgment as we expected and has put a ban on it that the lower court will not do anything until the High Court’s decision comes. We congratulate you for this. We are happy that we will get justice in future too.
SP MP expressed happiness over the decision
Ziaur Rahman said that we are satisfied with the Supreme Court but we are not satisfied with the police administration and the government. A commission has been formed by the UP government to investigate this violence. On which the SP MP said that for that too we will go to the Supreme Court and demand that the commission formed should be from the sitting bench of the Supreme Court.
On this matter, Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Jain said that the Supreme Court said that the order of the civil judge should be challenged in the Allahabad High Court. If you go to High Court, then hear it within 3 days. The trial will remain on hold until the Muslim side files the case. I don’t see any relief for the Muslim side. If they do, then best wishes to them. The next date in the trial court is January 8, so we are in no hurry. We have filed a caveat. When the Muslim side goes to the High Court, we will also be present.
Lower court should not take any action
Let us tell you that the petition of Muslim side was heard in the Supreme Court today on the Sambhal Masjid case. During this, CJI said that we have seen the order, we will not comment on this case. The court directed that the mosque committee should get a chance to use its legal options in this matter. This could be District Court or High Court. The court said whether it is not appropriate to go to the High Court under Section 227? It would be better if we keep the case pending with us.
The Supreme Court said that we want there to be peace there. If the mosque committee appeals against the order of the civil judge, it should be posted for hearing in 3 days. We do not want anything to happen there in the meantime, they have the right to challenge this order. We are keeping the petition pending. This matter will be listed in the week starting from January 6. The trial court should not take action yet. The commissioner’s report should be kept sealed.
