IIT Patna students got package worth lakhs, so many students got offer of more than 60 lakhs

The placement season of 2025 has started in IIT Patna and in this first phase, the students of the institute have achieved unprecedented success. A total of 207 students have received job offers in this placement session. Which also includes 58 pre-placement offers (PPOs). The average annual package has been fixed at Rs 25.52 lakh. Which is the result of the growing reputation of the institute and the hard work of the students.

In this placement season, more than 15 students have received packages above Rs 60 lakh, which reflects the academic and professional excellence of the institute. Not only this, the students of IIT Patna have also received international job offers from leading companies of Japan. Which further strengthens the global identity of this institute.

List of companies and offers

IIT Patna students have received job offers from some leading companies in this session. These include Google (13 offers), Turing (11 offers), Microsoft, RI Limited, and Tiger Analytics (9 offers each), Flipkart (7 offers), and Accenture (6 offers). Students have received job offers for roles in various key profiles such as software engineering, data science, business analytics, consulting, and research and development (R&D).

International job offers

This year, IIT Patna students have also received international job offers from Japan-based companies. Companies like Accenture Japan, Sakata Incorporation and NTT-TX have given IIT Patna students the opportunity to be a part of their teams globally. This proves the growing international reputation of the institute. Now the students of IIT Patna have become the center of attraction not only for national but also for global companies.

This time the placement process in IIT Patna is going on in hybrid mode, in which both virtual and physical interviews are being conducted. The process has been designed in such a way that communication between students and selectors can be effective and genuine.
