The picture will become clear after some time as to whose hands will hold the reins of America for the next four years, but if Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party wins this time, then the most unique record in American electoral history will be created.

In fact, if we look at the 235-year history of the American presidential elections, till date no woman has been able to become the winner. Victoria Woodhull was the first woman to run for president in 1872.

Before Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton was in the presidential race in 2016 but she lost. She got more popular votes than Donald Trump but she failed to get the majority in the Electoral College. Worship of Kamala Harris in her native village in Tamil Nadu for her victory

To mark the victory of Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris in the US Presidential elections, a special anointment with sandalwood and turmeric and a special kind of worship was done in a temple in her native village in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. Local councilor Arulmozhi said that if she (Harris) wins, village leaders will organize ‘annadaan’ (free food/community lunch). Meanwhile, three fans of Harris reached his maternal home here and participated in the prayers.

Out of the three fans, one from Britain and two others from America reached Thulasendrapuram, seeing whom the local people were surprised. He met the village elders and also participated in the puja organized at the temple for Harris’s victory.

“I’m from Las Vegas and since I’m in India, I came here to Kamala’s grandparents’ village to support her,” a fan told PTI Video.
