‘If Congress had not become arrogant then…’, Haryana AAP chief Sushil Gupta’s big statement

Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Creating a record in Haryana, BJP has registered a historic victory. Now the party is going to form the government in Haryana for the third consecutive time. On the other hand, Congress is busy reviewing the reasons for the defeat. Meanwhile, a big statement of Aam Aadmi Party’s Haryana chief Sushil Gupta has come out.

During a conversation with news agency ANI, Sushil Gupta said, “In Haryana, our best effort was to remove BJP from power. Being a member of the India Alliance, I kept waiting for the alliance till the last moment. Today, Congress continues to blame or Keep introspecting but if you had not become arrogant then there would have been a Congress government in Haryana, there would have been a coalition government.”

‘We had no option left’
On alliance with Congress, Sushil Gupta said, Arvind Kejriwal said that our first aim is to remove BJP and we kept working in that direction. When the last three days of nomination were left and Congress had released its list, then being a national party we had no option left. We also shortlisted our candidates in three days and fielded them.

‘It is not in the power of Congress to defeat BJP’
He further said, “Today I feel that the current situation is that the Aam Aadmi Party will start preparations for the upcoming 2029 elections. Now it is no longer in the power of the Congress to drive out the BJP from Haryana. Now Arvind Kejriwal is the only one in Haryana. Will ensure BJP’s departure from Congress.”
