Indian Forest Service (IFS) officials have also shared the video of this tragic incident. Officer Parveen Kaswan wrote that “Everyone needs a house, how cruel can we be. At the same time, Nanda wrote along with her video, “In order to reach our home early, we permanently destroy the houses of our co-habitations.”

People condemned watching the video

The 44-second video was posted eight hours ago and has been viewed 7.25 lakh times so far. It has been retweeted over 8,000 times. After watching this video, the netizens as well as environmentalists have been hurt. Actually, a bulldozer is shown in the video toppling a tree. Birds were living on this tree for a long time, which died. People are condemning this decision to cut this tree.

Kerala Forest Department initiates legal action

A case has been registered against the contractors in the incident of death of birds while cutting trees. According to the local publication Manorama, the Kerala Forest Department has also started legal action against the contractor. It was learned that this tree was being cut without the permission of the concerned authorities.
