Dispute Over Asking Donations For Durga Puja: In the capital Patna, on the Navami day of Durga Puja (11 October), a gold shopkeeper threw an acid bottle on the youth in a dispute over asking for donations, due to which 5 people were injured. The matter is near Lodi Katra police post of Khajekala police station area of ​​Patna. The statue of Maa Durga has been installed just a few steps away from the police post. There is a gold shop near the police post. The police is busy investigating the entire matter.

It is said that around 2 pm on Friday, there was a dispute between the youth who had gone to the gold shopkeeper to ask for donations and the shopkeeper. The dispute escalated so much that the shopkeeper threw the acid bottle kept in the shop on the youth. Many people were injured in this incident. After this the local people became angry and started beating the shopkeeper. Also set fire to the scooter near the shop. Within no time the scooter was completely burnt to ashes.

As soon as the fire unit team received information about the incident, it reached the spot and by the time the scooter was burnt to ashes. Police officer Prabhat Ranjan detained the gold shopkeeper and the injured youth Aman and Sahil were admitted to the hospital for treatment. The aunt of the injured youth Aman and Sahil told that 5 people have been injured due to throwing of acid. Patna’s Khajekala Police Station President Prabhat Ranjan said that the information was received at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. After this, the shopkeeper was taken into custody after reaching the spot of the incident.

The shopkeeper is being interrogated. The injured people are being treated in the hospital. Initial investigation has revealed that acid has been thrown by a shopkeeper, due to which many people have been injured. Two injured people have been identified as of now, one is Aman Kumar and one is Sahil Kumar and the entire matter is being investigated at every point.
