How to prepare chicken tikka made in tandoor in air fryer


Chicken Tikka is a favorite non-vegetarian dish of Indians, which is eaten with great relish along with butter chicken and biryani. Apart from this, some people also like to eat it with Basmati rice by adding gravy to it. Whereas, some people like this dish with puffed naan or homemade plain roti. It is a popular snack, which is cooked in tandoor. At the same time, with the changing times, the way of cooking it has also changed. Some people have now started preferring to make this dish in air fryer. So let us know how you can make this dish in air fryer.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Chicken Tikka 

350 grams boneless chicken
1 onion, cut into pieces
1 capsicum, cut into pieces
1/2 cup curd
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp Red chilli powder
3 tsp gram flour
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp Kasuri methi
Salt as per taste

How to make Air Fryer Chicken Tikka?

1. First of all, fry the gram flour on low flame for a few minutes. Let it cool and then take it out in a bowl.

2. Add curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, oil, garam masala, ground coriander and salt to it. Mix well.

3. Add boneless chicken pieces and coat them well with the prepared marinade. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.

4. Once done, add onion and capsicum and mix well. Now, take a skewer and add onion, capsicum and chicken tikka pieces alternately.

5. Keep repeating this until the entire mixture is finished. Preheat your air fryer at 200 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes. Place the skewers evenly in the air fryer basket and air fry for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
