Due to this, strong winds will blow intermittently in most of the districts of the state, along with strong thunderstorms, light to moderate rain is also likely at some places. Due to this, there will be a slight drop in the day temperature and an increase in humidity in the atmosphere. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Hisar district. At the same time, less than normal rainfall has occurred in 6 districts of the state so far.

There is a possibility of rain in Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, Pathankot and Mohali districts of Punjab. Light to moderate rain is expected in these areas. A change in the weather can be seen here from afternoon. At the same time, a slight increase in temperature can also be seen. However, in the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of the state has decreased by 1.8 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded in Samrala at 37.3 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, the temperature in Chandigarh dropped by 3.6 degrees. Pathankot also received 1.9 mm of rain. So far, 34.2 mm of rain has been recorded in Punjab in the month of September. Which is 36 percent less than normal. However, in this season, it rains up to 53.8 mm.
