Covid related restrictions: Hospitality industry body FHRAI has urged the state governments to completely remove the restrictions of Kovid-19 in hotels, restaurants and all other such places. The organization said that the Center has also asked the states to remove additional curbs related to Kovid-19. The central government on Wednesday asked the states and union territories to reduce or remove the epidemic restrictions after reviewing the new cases of corona virus.

Pradeep Shetty, Joint Honorary Secretary, Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI), said in a statement, “The decision of the Central Government is a big relief for the industry. Restriction of 50 percent capacity continues
Shetty said, “In many states, the restriction of 50 percent capacity on restaurants is also continuing along with the closing times. Many states have restrictions on the number of people attending weddings and social gatherings and venues for meetings, conventions and exhibitions are in serious trouble.” He said summer is also the season for domestic travel and after Christmas and New Year’s for the hospitality industry.
