Uttar Pradesh Crime News: Recently, some anti-social elements had forcibly entered Shri Ram College in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, assaulted and fired. The video of the incident went viral on social media. In the case, on the complaint of college assistant teacher Amardeep Sharma, the police had registered a case against some youths, who have been arrested.
The five youths have been accused of entering the college premises in broad daylight, assaulting them and firing in the air. Senior Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal told that two teams were formed in this matter. On the information of the informer, the five youths were arrested. These include Harshit, Vivek Tyagi, Shivtavar alias Hrithik, Ajay Pratap alias Tinnu and a teenager. Cartridges and two pistols have also been recovered from the accused.

The accused ran away after threatening
Inspector Mahavir Chauhan, in-charge of New Mandi Kotwali police station had reached the spot on the information of firing. He started investigating the matter after taking information from the people around. In this case, there was a first fight between the students including Nitin, Akshay Johra, Manu, Manish etc. After this, both the groups came for talks, but during the talks, there was a fight between the two groups and the matter reached till fighting and firing.
Police said that the attackers fled after threatening the boys of Shri Ram College. During this, the college staff caught three youths on the spot and handed them over to the police and five youths have been arrested today.
