Gang members have also been caught by the police in Nagpur and Hyderabad.

On Tuesday afternoon, Additional DCP Rajesh Vyas said that Indore’s Lasudia police station has busted an interstate gang which has carried out theft incidents in several cities of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Hyderabad and Madhya Pradesh. Among the three members of the arrested gang, the main leader Anoop along with his other three accomplices used to carry out the incidents.

Goods worth six lakh recovered
Additional DCP Rajesh Vyas told that the same gang had recently carried out the incident of theft at the house of Rajiv Nigam, Joint Director, City Administration, living in Lasudia area, where the gang escaped with gold and silver jewelery including cash and expensive watches. . The police was looking for him. On the information of the informer, three accused were caught and goods worth Rs 6 lakh were recovered from the accused. He told that this gang, which is fond of traveling in expensive clothes, expensive shoes and luxury vehicles, had also bought a luxury farm house in Bhopal for luxury life and fun.

In that luxurious farm house, all facilities were made available for luxury. According to the police, the accused gang is so clever that they used walkie talkies at the time of the incident. The gang was also arrested eight months back by the Nagpur police, where they confessed to more than 35 theft incidents. Hyderabad and Rajasthan police were also engaged in the search of this gang.

Toolkit was kept for melting gold
The Additional DCP said that the accused used to carry a toolkit to melt the stolen gold. The police have also recovered those weapons from this gang. During interrogation, the gang members told that the fathers of all the three accused are posted in government jobs. Basically the gang is from UP. Before committing the theft incident, he used to do Reiki of the colony pretending to be an engineer of the telecom company and then targeted the empty house and carried out the incident. The accused have so far confessed their involvement in 70 theft incidents during police interrogation. At present, the police is busy interrogating the gang in connection with other incidents.
