Amidst this political tussle, Congress targeted Eknath Shinde and termed it as “punishment for fraud”. Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said, “The story of Mahayuti alliance is an example of political fall and betrayal. Eknath Shinde betrayed his political guru’s family after which BJP made him the Chief Minister. Now BJP is using him and ousting him. After this he said that BJP’s politics cannot be trusted.”
Sanjay Raut’s taunt on Supreme Court
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut also launched a scathing attack on BJP and the Supreme Court. He said that the government that came to power in Maharashtra was formed against the Constitution and former Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud is responsible for this. Raising the question, Raut said, “10 days have passed and despite BJP having the majority, the government could not be formed. BJP can form the government alone, then why is there a delay?”
Claim of swearing in on December 5
Meanwhile, BJP leader Bawankule has claimed that the new government will be sworn in on December 5. However, this statement has also become a topic of discussion in political circles. In such a situation, it remains to be seen when the political turmoil over government formation in Maharashtra will end.
