‘He played with us…’ wrestler Vinesh Phogat alleges Sports Ministry in Brijbhushan Singh case

Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia are involved in the second protest. They say that they will continue their strike until the report of the inquiry committee against the Indian Wrestling Federation comes.

Meanwhile, Vinesh Phogat, who was protesting at Jantar Mantar, made a big allegation on the Sports Ministry and said that the committee was only for the name, everything was being done by Brij Bhushan. Phogat said, politics has taken place on behalf of the Sports Ministry. We did whatever the ministry told us. I will not take names but the one whom we trusted played with us.

On the other hand, Sakshi Malik said, “I was made a part of the Sexual Harassment Committee to protect myself. I was never a part of it, nor was I made a part of it by being told, nor did I ever get any paper signed.” Apart from this, about the committee formed by the Sports Ministry, Sakshi Malik said, “At that time we were sure that the committee would do justice but nothing happened. Complaint has been given three days ago, till now the FIR has not been registered.”

At the same time, the wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar say that now whoever comes in their support is welcome. Be it any political party or any other. Let me tell you, the last time when boxer and Congress leader Vijender Singh had reached Jantar Mantar in support of these players, he was pulled down from the stage and asked to sit in the crowd. Apart from the wrestlers, no one was given a place on the stage.
