An emotional scene was seen in a Pakistani court on Monday (November 4, 2024) when Bushra Bibi, wife of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, started crying bitterly. He raised questions on the justice system and judges. She accused the justice system of being incompetent and unjustly punishing her jailed husband. Crying, he asked the court whether the judges could not see that the person in jail is also a human being.

Bushra Bibi also said that she and her husband have been sentenced unjustly and she has been facing injustice for nine months, hence she will not come to the court again. Bushra Bibi appeared in the court of Islamabad District Magistrate Afzal Majoka to seek bail for her husband in six cases registered in different police stations and for herself in another case.

Imran Khan was not presented in the court during the hearing held in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. He was not allowed to appear even through video conference.

Bushra Bibi became emotional during the court proceedings. She said, ‘I have been facing injustice from those holding the responsibility of justice for the last nine months. I and the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Imran Khan) were sentenced unjustly.

Referring to Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi said, ‘The person who is lodged inside the jail, is he not a human being? Can’t any judge see this? She said that she will not come again to this court, where justice is not provided. Bushra was released from jail last month after getting bail in the Toshakhana case, but imran khan Still in jail.
