Rajasthan News: The illegal business of prostitution has once again started flourishing in Abu Road of Sirohi, Rajasthan. Spa centers have opened at various places in the city. After the strictness of the then Superintendent of Police Jyestha Maitreyi, the spa operators went underground. Now, due to the laxity of the police, spa centers are being run ignoring the rules. Sirohi Police Captain Anil Kumar Beniwal says that after the matter comes to notice, strict action will be taken. SP Beniwal is ready to tighten the noose on illegal spa centres.
People say that spa centers are causing moral degradation of the youth. The government has issued strict rules and guidelines for operating spas. The reality is that the rules are not followed. Spa operators have found a way to woo the youth. The girls hired for massage in the spa center are changed after a month or 15 days. In such a situation, the question arises whether the girls are verified by the police. Due to lack of details of the girls, the police find it difficult to take action.
Are illegal spa centers thriving due to police laxity?
The girl died suspiciously four months ago near the Banas river culvert in Manpur. The girl was working in a spa centre. Due to injury marks on the body, suspicion of murder was raised. The accused who carried out the incident had fled from the spot. People are demanding that the Superintendent of Police will have to show seriousness in curbing illegal spa centres. Police need to take strict action against illegal operations. At present, the morale of spa operators is high due to the laxity of the police. Spa operators are running the center by ignoring the rules.
