Sonali Phogat Death: The mystery of the death of Sonali Phogat, BJP leader and Tiktoker, is still entangled. Goa Police has arrested five people in this case. Sonali Phogat’s family members came to meet Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday, the Chief Minister has assured all possible help to the family members of Sonali Phogat. CM Khattar said that I am with the family in this hour of grief.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal told the family that I have also spoken to Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on this subject. Sonali’s family members have demanded a CBI probe into the matter. The CM has shown confidence to the family that the Haryana government will write a letter to the Goa government. According to the demand of the relatives, the Haryana government will request the Goa government for a CBI inquiry.
Sonali was given drugs named Methamphetamine
Haryana BJP leader Sonali Phogat was given a drug called Methamphetamine by the accused before her death. Goa Police has given this information on Saturday. Along with this, a video has also surfaced in which accused Sonali Phogat can be seen forcibly drinking something from a bottle. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jeevba Dalvi said that the remainder of the narcotic substance Phogat was given at Anjuna’s Curlies restaurant has been seized from the restaurant’s washroom.
Police have so far arrested Sonali Phogat’s personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan, another associate Sukhwinder Singh, restaurant owner Edwin Nunes, alleged drug smuggler Datta Prasad Gaonkar in this case. Another drug paddler Rama has also been taken into custody. Sukhwinder Singh and Sudhir Sangwan have been booked for murder while Gaonkar and Nunes have been booked under the NDPS Act.
