KUMBH: Famous flute player Hariprasad Chaurasia, born and brought up in Sangam city Prayagraj, has many memories associated with the Kumbh and Mahakumbh held here. He says that there is a lot of difference between the Kumbh of his time and today. Earlier Saint Mahatma lived in tents. It became dark after evening. There was no electricity, but now Mahakumbh has been recognized in the proper world. Modi and Yogi governments have made wonderful arrangements. Instead of tents, rooms like five star hotels have now been built. Now glare is seen everywhere.

According to Hariprasad Chaurasia, even though he has settled in Mumbai, he definitely comes to the Kumbh Mela held here every time. This time he will also come to Sangam Nagri for the Mahakumbh starting from January 13. Here the saints will spend some moments with the Mahatmas and will also take blessings from Mother Ganga. According to him, he will also play his flute among the saints, mahatmas and devotees coming to Mahakumbh.

Big artists will participate in the 3 day program
Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia has come to Prayagraj today to inaugurate the Bazm-e-Virasata program. This program is being organized by Prayagraj-born famous Bollywood film director and producer Tigmanshu Dhulia and his associates. Tigmanshu Dhulia is organizing a Kumbh of artists, musicians and litterateurs in Prayagraj before the Mahakumbh. 15 sessions are being organized in this three-day program. Many famous personalities of the country are participating in this.

Waseem Varelvi will be included in Bazm-e-Virasat
Former cricketer and commentator Mohammad Kaif was also present at the inauguration on the first day. Musician Shubha Mudgal and poet Wasim Barelvi will be present on the second day at Bazm-e-Virasat, while on the last day, famous film actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nandita Das and Sanjay Mishra will meet the people here. This program is organized to promote the art and culture of Prayagraj and to introduce the youth to the culture here.
