Had to work illegally in Israel. Pakistan arrested 5 citizens


Pakistan-Israel Relation: Pakistani authorities have arrested five citizens for working for four to seven years in Israel’s Tel Aviv city in violation of the Passport and Immigration Act. Pakistan does not recognize Israel as a country.

A senior official of the Federal Investigation Agency (FAI) said that the agency has arrested five people from Mirpurkhas town of Sindh province and is looking for three other Pakistani nationals from the same town.

Mumtaz Talpur, senior inspector of the Federal Investigation Agency (FAI), said, “These eight people went to Tel Aviv illegally at different times and worked there for four to seven years. They also kept sending money to their families through Western Union. The matter came to light through information received from relatives of a person.”

He said five of those arrested worked in Tel Aviv for seven years and returned, while three others traveled to Israel at different times via Turkey, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Greece.

Reached with the help of Israeli agent
Federal Investigation Agency (FAI) senior inspector Mumtaz Talpur said that all the arrested Pakistani nationals had reached Israel’s Tel Aviv with the help of an Israeli agent. The arrested Pakistani nationals worked as assistant cleaners and at gas stations. Apart from this, senior inspector Mumtaz Talpur said that the five arrested had returned to Pakistan via Greece and Dubai. Pakistani citizens are banned from going to Israel. It is clearly written on the passport of Pakistan that this passport is valid for all the countries of the world except Israel.
