A girl student from Guntur told that some people had talked about giving Rs 3 crore for selling the kidney. After this, this student transferred Rs 16 lakh in the name of tax and police verification. This nursing student told the police that a few days ago she had talked to a person named Praveen Raj on social media. He also demanded Rs 16 lakh from the student in the name of first tax and police verification. The thug asked the girl student to pay 50 percent during the operation and the remaining amount after the operation. For this, he also got the student to open an account in Citibank, Chennai and also called Delhi on a fake address. The student paid Rs 16 lakh, then she asked for the remaining amount.

The father of the victim student told that his daughter then asked for his ATM, which he gave to his daughter. The student’s father said that he had given one of his ATMs to his daughter. Cash was withdrawn from this in November. According to the father, he had asked his daughter to come back home, but she did not go home and went somewhere else. The father lodged a case with the police. When the police started searching, the student was found at a friend’s house in Jagayyapeta of NTR Nagar.
