1. Khambhalia- To repeat history in Gujarat, AAP has fielded CM face candidate Isudan Gadhvi from Khambhalia seat. Whose direct competition will be with Congress’s Vikram Madam and BJP’s veteran Mulu Bera. If we talk about the caste equation of this seat, then the Ahirs have dominance here and every time the leader of the Ahir community becomes the MLA here. That’s why it is going to be a tough fight for Isudan Gadhvi. Only in 1967, a person from non-Ahir community became leader from here.

2. Ghatlodia- Ghatlodia seat of Ahmedabad district is considered a stronghold of BJP as this seat has given Gujarat two Chief Ministers Bhupendra Patel and Anandiben Patel. That’s why this time BJP has submitted the claim to Bhupendra Patel only. Although there is a majority of Patidar community here.

3. Appearance- Surat Assembly will see a triangular fight between AAP, Congress and BJP. In the 2017 elections, the Congress had limited the BJP to 99 by winning 77 seats. Apart from this, 27 candidates of AAP have also become corporators in the municipal elections here, that is why you cannot be ignored on this seat.

4. Viramgam- Hardik Patel, a prominent leader of the Patidar movement, has contested from this seat on behalf of the BJP, but in the 2017 elections, the Congress had won this seat with 75,000 votes. That’s why this time Congress has given ticket to Lakhabhai Bharwad only without changing the claimant. Whereas AAP has submitted the claim to Kuvarji Thakor. There is every possibility of a fight between AAP, Congress and BJP in Viramgam.

5. Morbi- Morbi has long been a BJP bastion, with the party winning the seat continuously from 1995 to 2012. Morbi has a sizeable Patidar population, so Congress got good votes due to Patidar agitation but it lost to BJP candidate Kanti Amritiya by a margin of just 3 thousand 419 votes.

6. Maninagar- Since 1990, this seat is in the possession of BJP. PM by winning from this seat Narendra Modi Became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He had won this seat in 2002, 2007 and 2014. At present Suresh Patel of BJP is leading from Maninagar.

7. Godhra- There are 2 lakh 79 thousand voters in the Godhra assembly area, out of which 72 thousand voters are Muslims, therefore All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) got 7 seats in the municipal elections here. Although Godhra’s MLA is BJP’s CK Raulji.

8. North Jamnagar- This seat is in the news in the Gujarat elections as the BJP has given ticket to Rivaba, wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, who is contesting for the first time from here, who will have a direct fight with Congress’s Bipendrasinh Jadeja. For the election campaign of Bipendra Singh, Ravindra Jadeja’s sister and head of the Congress women’s wing, Naynaba Jadeja is doing it.

9. Danilimda- The Danilimda seat is very important for the Congress as it is a Scheduled Caste reserved seat and the Congress won it in 2012 by a margin of 14,000 votes, in 2017 with a margin of 32,000 votes. But in this election, Congress may face challenge from the contenders of BJP, AAP and AIMIM.

10. Dwarka- It seems easy for BJP to win Dwarka seat because BJP’s candidate Pabubha Manek has never lost on this seat. He has won this seat continuously for 7 times since 1990. The number of people of Ahir community is more in this seat. Apart from this, people of OBC, Satvaras group and Manek community are in third place here.
