‘Save Jobs USA’ lawsuit dismissed

The matter went to court. In this process, ‘Save Jobs USA’ challenged the rule made in the Obama-government, although now US District Court Justice Tanya Chutkan has dismissed the lawsuit filed by Save Jobs USA.

In some categories of H-1B visa in the US, the facility of Employment Authorization Card is provided to the spouse of the visa holders. When ‘Save Jobs USA’ filed a lawsuit against this facility, tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Google and Microsoft opposed the lawsuit.

The US is said to have so far issued work rights to the spouses of nearly 100,000 H-1B workers, a sizeable number of whom are Indians.
