Goa Police may come to Haryana to investigate Sonali Phogat murder case, 5 arrested so far

Sonali Phogat Murder Case: New revelations are being made every day in the alleged murder case of BJP leader and former social media star Sonali Phogat. So far 5 accused including drugs paddler have been arrested in the case. On the other hand, Goa CM Pramod Sawant has indicated a CBI inquiry into the Sonali Phogat murder case. Meanwhile, news is coming that Goa Police can also come to Haryana to investigate the matter.

A Goa court has also sent three accused (Curley’s restaurant owner Edwin Nunes and drug smugglers Dattaprasad Gaonkar and Ramakant Mandrekar) to five-day police custody in the Sonali Phogat alleged murder case. Meanwhile, Edwin Nunes, the owner of Curlies restaurant, also filed a petition in the court for Bell but his bail application was rejected.

Another drug peddler arrested
Another drug paddler has been arrested by the police in the Sonali Phogat alleged murder case. Anjuna police of North Goa district has arrested Rama alias Ramadas Mandrekar for supplying drugs to Dattaprasad village. He is already in police custody after losing. Gaonkar is alleged to have supplied drugs to two other accused Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh, who accompanied Phogat on their Goa trip. has gone. Both of them are the people who brought Sonali Phogat to Goa on the pretext of shooting the film. With this, so far five people have been arrested in this case.

Sonali Phogat was brought dead to the hospital on 23 August
Former TikTok star and reality TV show “Bigg Boss” contestant Phogat (43) was brought dead to the hospital on August 23, a day after she arrived in Goa. Goa Police said on Saturday that Phogat was given methamphetamine, a recreational drug, by his associates Sangwan and Sukhwinder, hours before his death. Phogat and her associates had a party on the intervening night of August 22 and 23 at Curlies restaurant in North Goa. DSP Jeevba Dalvi had said that Phogat was given methamphetamine during this party. Some remaining drugs have also been recovered from the washroom of the restaurant.

Sangwan and Sukhvind are accused of murder
The accused Sagwan and Sukhwinder allegedly told the police that they had bought the drugs from Gaonkar. Gaonkar worked as a room boy at Hotel Grand Leoni Resort in Anjuna, where he was staying. Sagwan and Sukhwinder have been charged with murder, while Nunes and Gaonkar have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. It is reported that a team of Goa Police will interrogate some people in Haryana to get to the bottom of the Sonali murder case.
