Give good clothes and equipment to the soldiers posted on the Sino-Pak border, there should be no delay in purchase- PAC

PAC Reports: There is a continuous debate about the skirmish between the army of India and China in Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh. The opposition is making every possible effort to corner the central government on this issue and tough questions are being asked from the government. Meanwhile, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) presented its report in the Parliament. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary is the chairman of this committee. In this report, deficiencies have been mentioned in the facilities provided to the jawans posted on the border of China and Pakistan. The report mentions the shortcomings in providing clothes, ration and necessary equipment to the jawans present in the high altitude areas.

Goods do not reach the jawans on time
In fact, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) took up some issues of the army and got all the information about them. After which a report was prepared and presented in the Parliament. The CAG report was also seen for this. The PAC, headed by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, has said in this report that essential goods are procured for the army, but there is a delay in reaching the soldiers posted on the border. Especially those jawans who are posted in high altitude areas are troubled by this. Where sometimes the temperature remains below 20 degree Celsius.

What did Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary say
Regarding this report, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said, due to the delay in reaching the necessary facilities, the health and hygiene of the jawans are greatly affected. For this, it is necessary that the necessary goods should be delivered to the jawans on time. For this, stock also needs to be kept in sufficient quantity. The quality of the ration provided to the Indian Army should also be constantly checked. There should be special arrangements for food and other things for the jawans living in high altitude areas. The Congress leader once again stressed that there should be no delay in the purchase of essential items for the army under any circumstances.
