He also told that after doing BTech from Shillong, he has obtained MS degree from Belgium. After this he went to Germany to do PhD. While studying, he befriended Martha, a German girl doing PhD. It was only during friendship that a marriage proposal came from the girl’s side. With the consent of both the families, both of them got married according to the tradition of Mithila.
