Garlic stolen in Choithram Mandi, Indore, loss of Rs 1.20 lakh, police checking CCTV cameras

MP News: Terror of thieves was once again seen in Indore’s Choithram Mandi, but this time the target was garlic. The miscreants broke the roof of a shop in the market and stole 5 pieces of garlic.

At present, the price of garlic has reached Rs 400 per kg, due to which this product has proved to be very attractive for thieves. The total value of the stolen garlic is said to be around Rs 1.20 lakh.

How did the incident come to light?
The businessman came to know of the theft after reaching his shop in the morning. He immediately filed a complaint at Rajendra Nagar police station and informed the police. After this, the police have started examining the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the market so that the thieves can be detected.
