Himachal News: Harshvardhan Chauhan, Industries Minister in Himachal Pradesh Government, termed the statement of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann as irresponsible and childish. Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that such statements do not suit the Chief Minister of Punjab. He said that the devastation that happened in North India was due to cloudburst. In such a situation, now the water will flow downwards only. Water cannot come from top to bottom. Neither the Government of Himachal Pradesh nor the people of Himachal Pradesh is responsible for this. If the water is going to Punjab, it does not end the fight for the rights of Himachal. Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that Himachal Pradesh government wants to resolve its issues with Punjab through dialogue. It is not correct to make such statements in the media.

Statement of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann
Let us tell you that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwan Singh Mann had said during a conversation with the media on Thursday that the whole of Punjab is waterlogged. Now Himachal Pradesh and Haryana are not demanding their rights on water. He had said that both the states should also take the flood water with them. Attacking the Himachal Pradesh government, he had said that the Himachal Pradesh government repeatedly comes to fight for its rights and the people of Punjab are troubled by the water coming from Himachal Pradesh. In fact, Himachal Pradesh government is talking about imposing water cess on water and flood water is continuously being released towards Punjab. Himachal government should stop the water. Bhagwant Singh Mann had also said that Punjab has been saving the whole world. Whether the Red Cross reaches there or not during a disaster, but where does the Guru’s langar reach.
