Parkash Singh Badal in Hospital: The health of former Punjab Chief Minister and senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Parkash Singh Badal has deteriorated. Parkash Singh Badal has been admitted to Chandigarh PGI, where a team of doctors is monitoring his health. It is being told that he has been admitted to the hospital after having mild fever.

According to doctors, Parkash Singh Badal had mild fever for the last 2 or 3 days. The age of former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal is about 94 years. His treatment is going on under the supervision of doctors. Parkash Singh Badal, a five-time Chief Minister of Punjab, was earlier admitted to a private hospital in Mohali in June. It is being told that he has also been admitted to the hospital for routine checkups.

Senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Parkash Singh Badal has held the post of CM in Punjab five times. However, this time i.e. in the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections, he had to face defeat. He contested from the Lambi assembly seat of Punjab. Badal was defeated by Gurmati Khudiyan of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
